Growing International Minds with Community Hearts
Welcome!
We realise that choosing a school for your child is a difficult decision. We realise that no website can truly reflect the feeling of a school learning community. However, we hope that we can give you information that will help you and your family with this important decision, and give you an insight into our vibrant school.
Here at ISL, we strive to be more than a school. We offer each student an education that helps to develop them academically, personally, creatively and independently. We guide our students towards fulfilling responsible, happy and productive lives in society. Individualised learning programs reflect the diverse learning experiences of our international students, whilst our Dutch language classes provide opportunities for integration into, not only the language, but also the culture of Belgium.
The best way to get a true feeling about our wonderful school is to visit us in person, so please contact us to arrange a visit.
We look forward to welcoming you to our learning community!

Parents Testimonials
Just a little note to say thank you and how impressed we are with all of you. Bringing your children to school for the first time is a stressful time and we couldn’t be happier with how lovely the school and teachers are. Our kids’ smiles say it all. It is making us feel so much more at home than even a few days ago so thank you for that.
The school warmly welcomes children, respecting their cultural differences. My children feel welcome and very happy at ISL. Even students who do not have English as their native language learn to communicate, each in their own time, respecting differences and individual learning time.
ISL's methodology allows students to grow not only intellectually but as human beings. They learn early that respect and friendship are important values in one's life.
Early Years
(from 2.5 to 6 years)

We foster a sense of family where each child can flourish emotionally, socially and academically.
“Play is the work of children” through which they develop communication, problem solving skills, cognitive growth, imagination, leadership skills, perseverance and social collaboration.
Primary
(from 6 to 12 years)

At ISL we encourage our children to become thinkers and problem solvers. Through challenging tasks that require more than just knowledge based learning we build on curiosity and foster enquiry.
Throughout the Primary years, children consolidate their existing skills working towards clear, individualised learning goals.
